This atlas is the first of its kind in Nepal. It has been developed on the basis of real world digital database captured using Geographical Information System (GIS). Besides GIS data, satellite images are also used. In this atlas all the information and facts are actually and accurately presented as per the sources. Moreover, all location specific information have been presented on the basis of common coordinate system. This volume is mainly prepared for the school level students, but it will be equally important for others as well. Attempts has been made to incorporate all maps prescribed by the school curriculum. It fulfills the needs of both teachers and students.
