English for the New Millennium is a textbook prescribed for the first year students pursuing four-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme of Tribhuwan University. The overall objective of the course is to develop students' English language proficiency. This particular textbook covers 60% of the course with a focus on reading, writing and vocabulary. The textbook contains a wide range of carefully selected and graded texts representing from classic writings to contemporary topics. The selection presents texts meant for pleasure reading to information seeking activities.
